The company Adria Tehnika has once again opened the doors of its hangars to young people who are interested in aviation, technology, and working in a dynamic environment. The content-rich program was presented by experts employed by Adria Tehnika. The participants learned more about the background of the complex work, which requires precision, consistency, and care at every stage of the process. They saw the “guts” of airplanes, learned about the important roles of workshops where various procedures are carried out, were presented with airplane components, and encountered a wide range of other activities related to airplane repairs. Among other things, the visitors were impressed by the fact that the company Adria Tehnika has its own technical training department, where employees are educated, acquire knowledge, and obtain international licenses, which are necessary for working on airplanes. For the cherry on top, they had the opportunity to sit in the cockpit and enjoy an experience that few are offered.
Aviation still plays an important role in global connectivity and economic development, as it provides fast and efficient transport options for passengers and goods. Aviation has also developed and grown rapidly in recent years. With the growing number of aircraft in use, the need for their maintenance and servicing is also increasing. With events such as the Open Door Day we want to get closer to young people who are at the beginning of their career path and show them that working in an MRO organization is interesting because it entails a wide range of different specialists, such as tinsmiths, painters, mechanical and electrical technicians and engineers, and other technical professions.
